YOUTH VOICE
Work to end youth homelessness in Canada requires the voices of youth with lived experience.
Youth experiencing homelessness know what supports are necessary and also how systems have failed them. The National Learning Community on Youth Homelessness is committed to creating space for youth to engage in the national conversation and be a key partner in plans to end youth homelessness.
The National Learning Community on Youth Homelessness (Learning Community) leads the youth voices work of A Way Home. The Learning Community is a founding partner of A Way Home and is the only pan-Canadian community of practice in the youth homelessness sector.
A Way Home and the Learning Community will identify promising practices for youth engagement and develop tools for youth-serving organizations to work with and support youth to engage in the planning activities of ending youth homelessness.
